This is the third and final video for a 3 part sub-series that I’m adding to my Soldering Basics video series. This sub-series is about Tools and Supplies for Basic Soldering. This soldering series is a great way to learn soldering for beginners. In this video I’m showing some supplies that I would recommend having for basic soldering, and it should help you with setting up a good soldering kit for beginners.

Straight to the point, clear and concise, thank you!!! Subbed
Soldiering is a headache π
I am a beginner and would like to have your input on what iron i should buy. I will mainly solder electronics parts. Thank you.
The description of this video has links to some playlists I’ve made for Basic Soldering. I also added some links to help you find items that are similar to what I’m using in this video.
great vid!
This whole playlist is great. I’m about to embark on my first electronics project, and your videos have been a valuable resource on clueing me in to what about I’m about to get into. I feel equipped to shop around for some basics now. Thanks!
I’m new to your videos and so far I love them. I’m also new to navigating YouTube. Would you mind helping me to find the video you mentioned in this one where you describe more about the Flux please? I see a link to a kind of flux and a video that mentions flux but not a specific video link for what I believe you are saying you have. Sorry my wording is all over the place.
Love your simple yet detailed way of explaining things .. well done .. instant sub! π
One question that your soldering supplies series didn’t seem to cover – what is "tinning" the soldering iron tip? Some solder kits include a little bucket of stuff for tinning the tip. Is that necessary or useful?
Thanks a lot sir
<3
Thanks for the great videos, nicely explained π
These soldering basic videos are so well made! Many thanks again for making them
Nice info, thank you for sharing it π
These are so underrated and perfect for someone looking to start out. Thank you very much
I like this whole series about soldering
π
just got to the end of this series and I just have to say you’ve done a wonderful job keeping the necessary info and splitting it up like you did. This was a very helpful watch and I’ll be bookmarking it to come back to if I need it
Please dont stop making these types of videos. They are too good
Show how to solder walkie talkie push button
Individual videos for each of these items could be interesting for people looking for a quick info about just a single item while getting every details about it.
Brass eats tip
Never use it
Use sponge
Thanks.Very informative.
These soldering videos have been amazingly helpful. I appreciate that you include important details such as exactly why you want to use flux. Most videos say things like "because it works well with solder" which like saying nothing. I’d love to see a video on soldering iron tips. What are the different styles used for and how to buy quality tips and how to make them last. And what exactly tinning does. Keep up the great work!
Wow! Loved that heat shrink on the gator clip trick! Now why didn’t I ever think of that π΅βπ«
You are awesome at teaching. Simple explanations Subscribed
Very informative video sir! thanks!
